This year, Ani-com & Games. will be held from July 25th to 29th at the Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In addition to the Cosplay Self-Guided Tour in which everyone can participate in, the anime cosplay competition has changed from one to two, the single, and the double World Cosplay Summit 2026 Hong Kong Qualifiers. Contestants who qualified in the preliminary rounds will compete in the finals held on the first three days. And don’t forget the finale - Cosplay Together - on the last day.

The Hong Kong Football Festival at the end of July will feature four top European teams - Liverpool, AC Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. They will present two games at the Kai Tak Stadium.
The first match on July 26th will be between the Premier League champions Liverpool and Serie A’s AC Milan. It will be a replay of the classic UEFA’s Champions League finals in 2005 and 2007. This will be Liverpool’s first visit to Hong Kong after 2017, while AC Milan last visited Hong Kong 21 years ago.
As for July 31st, Arsenal, the the Premier League runners-up this year, will face off with Tottenham Hotspur, who just broke their trophy drought and won the Europa League. It will be the first time in history that the North London derby between two century-old clubs is staged overseas.
The theme of this year’s Book Fair is “Food Culture·Future Living”. Food provides nutrients for the body, while reading nourishes our mind.

For example, the fifth-generation successor of a time-honoured restaurant, the first female commercial astronaut in the US, Sian “Leo” Proctor and others, will share their insights on food from multiple perspectives of culture, life, and future technology.
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour - Hong Kong will be held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 19th and 20th. Sixteen top teams from around the world will be participating, including the world’s top four, Team Ub from Serbia, Team Toulouse from France, Team Miami from the US and Team Amsterdam from the Netherlands. China’s Chongming, ranked among the top 10, will also come to Hong Kong for the first time. Team Hong Kong, the home professional 3x3 team will be led by Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Agnis Cavars to face all the powerhouses.
From June to September, the second Chinese Culture Festival features more than 280 performances, including selected works from “Chinese Opera Festival” and outstanding local works recognized by the China National Arts Fund, as well as works by local art organizations, covering music, dance, multi-arts, theatre, Chinese opera, films, exhibitions and more.

The annual International Arts Carnival is here again! Organised by the LCSD, the Carnival is held from July till August. Artists and art troupes from the Netherlands, Korea, Norway, the US, the Mainland and Hong Kong are putting on a series of martial arts, acrobatics, music, dance, theatre, multimedia and other performances which are a great treat for both children and adults. In addition to 18 live performances, there are also a summer family film festival, a series of interactive workshops, family activities and exhibitions, etc.

TheNextwave XX25 Beach Music Festival will be held on the afternoon of July 5th and 6th at Tai Pak Beach, Discovery Bay, bringing together a strong lineup from Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, including Eric Chou from Taiwan, local rising star Joey Hung Ka Ho, phenomenal Korean girl group ITZY and emerging K-pop queen CHUNG HA. The diverse music genres can no doubt satisfy different music fans.
